Well-being a prep cook for banquet at a 4-star restaurant is tough, but fun, I enjoy the hard work and enjoy the atmosphere there immensely, at $16/hour for 8-hour days, I COULD earn more money as a trucker, but I truly do enjoy doing this job.

So, it's been rewarding and good for me, on the super busy days like in the summer or on Thanksgiving or not just yesterday and everything is hectic and chaotic, I call those 'Captain Chaos Days' orderly but chaotic, hectic, fast-paced but fun at the same time, is it perfect? no, but I'm having fun doing it.

O and my feet have recovered... except that one dingbat pinky toe on my right foot, it just plum hates shoes period, otherwise my feet are good now that I have decent non-slip shoes, now the rest of me aches, but that'll pass eventually I'm sure (Old age sucks) LOL!
